Download TikTok Photos, Carousels and Slideshow Images
To download TikTok slideshow photos with KeepTik, open the photo post in desktop Chrome or Edge, open KeepTik and choose its Save action showing the photo count. Choose a folder to save separate, numbered images in their detected source formats. KeepTik does not combine them with music into a video or remove marks already present in an image.
Identify a photo post, carousel or rendered slideshow video
Check whether TikTok presents the post as separate swipeable images. Those are the images this workflow saves. A creator can also upload a video made from photographs; saving that MP4 does not recover separate original image files.
Background music belongs to the viewing experience, but the photo files and an audio track are different outputs. This photo workflow does not extract the music or render a new slideshow movie.
Download all the photos in one TikTok slideshow
Install KeepTik in desktop Chrome or Edge and reload TikTok after installation. If the download control is absent in a feed, open the photo post on its own page or use the KeepTik icon.
Open the photo post
Make sure you are viewing the intended post rather than only a profile thumbnail.
Confirm the photo count in KeepTik
Open the extension icon and check that it identifies a Photo set. Choose the Save action showing the count, such as Save 12 photos, rather than a control belonging to a recommended video.
Choose a folder once
Select a destination. KeepTik creates a subfolder for the post and writes its images there.
Check the saved set
Compare the reported photo count with the numbered images. Open a few files and review any missing-photo reason.
Keep photo order and the actual source format
KeepTik identifies the image format from the received file data. A post can therefore contain WebP, JPG, PNG, AVIF or HEIC files according to what TikTok supplied; the downloader does not convert every photo to JPG.
The filenames are numbered in post order inside the post’s folder. For example, 01.webp and 02.webp illustrate two numbered WebP files, not a guarantee that every post uses WebP. Keep that parent folder when moving the images so you retain the post ID and other naming context.
A device or editor may need additional format support to open some images. Renaming .heic or .webp to .jpg does not convert it. Keep the received file and make any format conversion separately in software that supports the source.
Filter photo posts in a profile batch
For multiple posts, open a TikTok profile and scan accessible lists in KeepTik. Open the type filter and choose Photo sets. Review the remaining posts, check the overall selection and choose a folder when you start the batch.
Each photo post gets its own folder. Check selection carefully after filtering: hiding videos from the list does not by itself prove that earlier selected videos have been cleared.
The profile bulk-download tutorial explains scan states, selection and the CSV/JSON report.
Check missing photos and retry a partial save
A photo set counts as saved only when all its images pass the file checks. Partly saved means that some images were written and at least one is still missing. Keep the files that did save and inspect the reason before retrying.
Retrying a partly saved photo post targets the missing images rather than downloading the entire successful portion again. If TikTok no longer provides a source or the session needs attention, address that cause first; a retry cannot restore a file the source no longer serves.
A real 12-photo save, checked on disk
On 31 October 2026, we saved one public photo post from TikTok’s official account with the installed KeepTik 1.0.0 Chrome extension on macOS. The native side panel identified 12 photos. After one folder selection, it reported Saved · 12 photos · 3.8 MiB.
The destination contained one post folder with 01.jpg through 12.jpg: 12 files totaling 3,936,544 bytes. Every file had a JPEG header, and ffprobe 9.0.2 reported 1080 × 1450 pixels for each. We opened the first, sixth and last files. The received captions, artwork and account handles remained in those images.
JPEG and these dimensions describe this sample. They are not a promise that every post is JPEG, an untouched original upload or watermark-free. We checked consecutive numbering and sample images; we did not independently compare all source images one by one or induce a partial failure to test retry in this run.

TikTok photo and slideshow download questions
Are the saved photos guaranteed to be watermark-free originals?
No. KeepTik saves the images TikTok supplies without removing existing marks. Source dimensions and marks depend on the available image, not on a promise of an original upload.
Why are the photos not in Downloads/KeepTik?
A single photo post and a profile batch use the folder you choose in the picker. A single-video MP4 download uses the browser’s default download location.
Does KeepTik save the slideshow music as MP3?
No. The photo workflow produces separate images. KeepTik does not export audio or create a music video from those images.
